Nimbus Roman as a base made to align more with Times New Roman’s heights and expand the weights.
Doikayt is Yiddish for Hereness, an embrace of diaspora and making a life where you are. I’ve always loved designing with defaults, like fonts Arial and Times New Roman. This font family is simply a few small tweaks to the older GNU Licensed URW’s Nimbus fonts to modernize and expand them.
